Input/Output StreamGuard Implementation and Uses
Ideally, your service area network (SAN) permits an uninterrupted flow of data all the time. Unfortunately, with changes to the SAN fabric—when a server comes online, or when storage ports are added—the attendant tape backups might cause a serious lapse in the flow of data. However, an interoperable solution can keep registered state change notifications (RSCNs) from making your SAN go haywire.

17 Rules of the Road for Customer Relationship Management
Your Challenge: Get Decision Makers' Approval for Rules of the Road for CRM. Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant and Time-Bound. Customer relationship management (CRM) is more than a product—it’s a philosophy. That’s why, when it comes to CRM systems, it’s important to understand all the benefits of an integrated application before beginning the selection process. After all, just as a chain is only as strong as its weakest link, a CRM solution is only as good as its implementation.

EAM IMPLEMENTATION FOR GAS REFINERY: find new ways to streamline old methods and jettison administrative overhead that no longer benefits you or your customers. 2. Customers are everywhere: clients, vendors, employees, mentors. It used to be easy to define the word customer. But companies are becoming more diverse, with multiple locations, employees who telecommute, and vendors who function as partners. The idea of customer has broadened to include a wide range of end users of different kinds of corporate information. For example,

The Case for Pricing Management
Savvy and dynamically optimized pricing can mean the difference between survival and failure. In many environments it might be smarter, quicker, and more useful to calculate pricing based on systematic analysis rather than on fuzzy thinking or human emotions.

EAM IMPLEMENTATION FOR GAS REFINERY: improving profits by curbing upstream supply chain costs, as evidenced by an increasing strategic approach to sourcing, e-procurement, and contract or spend management over the last several years (see The Hidden Gems of the Enterprise Application Space ). However, this broad strategic approach, including education and discipline, has not been applied on the sales side. The kind of thoughtfulness recently seen amongst well-informed and disciplined buyers and purchasing managers has been lacking when it

CMMS Software for Hire
Application Service Provision (ASP).There has been a trend in recent years towards the use of remote software services through application service providers. These are companies who make software applications available via the Internet to users who, rather than buying software, pay rental fees for it. The software does not have to be installed locally, the application being available through any web browser, and all support and maintenance is handled by the service provider. CMMS vendors are not the only ones offering these solutions. CAD modelling, engineering design, finance packages, purchasing, ERP and even your company Intranet can now be rented. This is an expanding sector and the signs are that major growth is about to take place. Earlier problems with slow data transfer speeds, communication costs and data security have largely been eliminated and this has made ASP a very attractive proposition. This is clearly illustrated by the proliferation of systems that have become available over the last three or four years with most of the major CMMS vendors now offering an ASP option.
